May 6, 2012. Yeah, I'm a mom!!! My first bebes. And like any new mom I am so proud of them!! Aren't they beautiful?

It is now time for a new chapter of my life. Motherhood, I hope. While waiting for this miraculous segment of my life, I am also going to start working on my obedience training. You know how hard it is for a girl to train a human! Well I'll let you know how that works out.

I have lost all my coat and am now FREEEE!  Naked as a Jay bird as my mom says.  (I sure wish my mom would have let me go out to more shows; I could have shed my coat a long time ago.)

Any way, now I can run, jump and play with the boys.  Justice likes to play a little rough, but I think that is because he and I are such good friends.  It's ok though, because I never hesitate to put him in his place when I've had enough.  Ari on the other hand, is such a gentleman.  Always bowing and asking me so nicely to come play with him.  Sometimes I just sit and ignore him, just for the fun of it.  Other times, we race around the yard with him in hot pursuit.  And when he catches me (cause I let him), then I chase him.

Jessie with expert handler Will Alexander

I am now an American/Canadian Champion.

Thank you Judge Ronald Menaker for this hounour, Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex, for a four point Major at the Chicago International Kennel Club.

Of course, very special thanks also goes to Mr. William Alexander and his outstanding team for presenting me at my very best...

Well everybody, it's October 2011 and here I am obtaining another two points with handler Jodi Paquette.

Thank you Judge Mr. Robert Ennis for this win.  Only two more points and I'm an Amercan Champion!!!

If I'm not careful, I'm going to lose my nickname of "Messy Jessie"!

Ok folks, it's 2011 and I'm Back!

I just turned 3 years old and to celebrate my birthday I have finally returned to the US and am finally back in the show ring.  I returned to Portland OR with my second mom, Teri Taplin.  I want to thank Judges Desmond Murphy and Donald Sturz for making my birthday so special.  I got two Majors!!!  No I didn't kiss them, Teri said it wasn't professional, so I obeyed, being the good little girl that I am...but one of these days lookout!  I'll find the right Judge that won't kiss and tell!!!

A couple of months later, Teri and I went to Phoenix AZ.

It was more of a shopping trip, but I did get to play in the ring.  Unfortunately, there were hardly any other kids around to play with.

I did well, taking Best of Winners most days, and even Best Opposite Sex over a Special, but alas, the points were limited.

I am now sitting on 11 points with three Majors... ugh!

Going back in time to January, 2009, and Jessie's getting ready to celbrate her first birthday a little early with her first visit to Porland OR.

"I was just a babe then... 11 months old...and it way my first US show....  Oh gee I was nervous....  All these big girls.... and I was the only puppy in my class (Open).... Oh my... the  judge must like me cause he just gave me a ribbon."

Well indeed Jessie was correct... the judge did like her, sort of... Jessie took Reserve to a Five Point Major at the Rose City Poodle Specialty, from the Open Class. Not bad for a babe less than a year old.

Later that weekend Jessie was to ger her first US Major and we celebrated.

No show photos were taken, but we did get some nice candid photos at ringside and in the ring.

In the beginning...

Hi folks, It's me Jessie.

As you can see in the photo below I have learned the important things in life.

" Always thank the Judge! "

This was my first show, a Sanction Match, and without any coaxing, I thanked the esteemed Judge Karen Chant for my Best In Match Ribbon. It is so pretty, we'll save it for ever.

I learned early on that a kiss can buy you anything.
Well almost, it doesn't always get me out of trouble with mom (but it does with dad).
